Bridge It is looking for:
- Digger Operator / Excavator Operator
- Class 2 licence and rollers, tracks and wheels (R, T and W / WTR)
- $28 – $33 p/h (depending on experience) plus $85 living away allowance per day
Bridge It NZ Ltd fabricates, delivers, and installs bridges throughout New Zealand, with their site crews working on varied structures across many different locations and environments.
The company is based in Tauranga, but work is site-based working away from Monday to Friday with overnight allowances and remuneration packages dependent on skills and experience. This role involves carrying out excavator work including pile driving, augering, general civil works, as well as lifting operations, and labouring including forming and pouring concrete foundations, retaining walls, boardwalks, and general bridge construction.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A good level of Digger Operator / Excavator experience.
- Understands plans, levels, and grades and can troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- Class 2 licence and rollers, tracks and wheels (R, T and W / WTR) endorsement
- A class 4 / 5 truck license is also highly desirable.
- Good awareness of health and safety risks.
- Physically fit, hands-on, hard-working, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Takes pride in completing quality work and caring for machinery and equipment.
- Available to be away overnight during the week.
